Ledger extension

Ledger Extension works with a Ledger Nano X that is required to protect your private keys and sign each transaction.

Rather than continue updating Ledger Extension as a standalone app, we’re integrating many of its features, such as Web3 check into other parts of the Ledger ecosystem to streamline your experience and make it easier to securely manage your assets. You can still use the Ledger Extension app if you have it already downloaded, but it will no longer be available to download and we have no plans to further update the app.

Ledger Extension will still be functional to use, as a reminder the security of your experience comes from your private key being secured by the Ledger device that you use with it. We recommend that you use Ledger Live with your device, as it is the most up-to-date experience with continued security bugs fixed and improved with each operating system update.

If you already have Ledger Extension installed, you’re still able to use all its features. However, Ledger Extension will no longer be updated.
